Patriotism and a sense of pride in great moments in British history should be avoided in school because many events are morally ambiguous, a leading educational body has said.
"Morally ambiguous"? Isn't that the whole point of teaching history?

In all fairness, Malcolm admits that the full story (by Nicola Woolcock) is a whit more balanced than that sensational teaser. But only just.
